Sin. Three letters. One syllable. Not a big word on paper. But if the Bible is to be believed, “sin” carries with it a rather significant meaning. But don’t bother looking up that meaning in the dictionary.
Some editions no longer include the word on their pages.
A tourist browsing a curio shop in New York noticed a very lifelike, bronze statue of a rat. It didn’t have a price tag, but the man was intrigued enough that he decided to buy it. “How much for the bronze rat?” he asked the shop owner.
“Fifty bucks for the rat. Two hundred bucks for the story,” came the reply.

Most folks on the pro-life side of the abortion fence wonder what those on the opposite side of the issue think about unborn babies. Are they human? Just a fetus? A life? Tissue? Now, thanks to one pro-choice writer, there is crystal clear understanding.
An unborn baby is nothing more than a “life worth sacrificing.”

At one time or another, almost every politician in America has made a reference to the Bible…usually to support their political agenda or to show how “Christian” they are. But sometimes, their references to Scripture aren’t exactly “biblical.”
Of course, some seem to do it more frequently than others.
Every football team has that crazy set of fans who paints their bodies to match the team’s colors. For the Tigers of LSU, it’s The Painted Posse. These young men, who happen to be Christians, love the Tigers almost as much as the Lion of the Tribe of Judah. Look closely at their picture to the right, and you can see their loyalty to LSU and the Kingdom of God.
That is, until Louisiana State University does a little Photoshopping….
